The Star Making Machine

The Star Making Machine is a 3D animation feature film, although it is oriented to a child audience, it counts with such an interesting artistic proposal that it becomes an attractive experience for adults as well. The story as well as its characters actions take place in an imaginary universe, but the relationships stablished between them, the values, the desires and emotions exposed are deeply human.

Film Features

The Star Making Machine presents an aesthetic profile which is rarely found in Argentina. The characters (starring Pilo) and props design is one of the production´s high attractive point, they are created with care by tallented artists, so that in the final result Pilo´s story founds in a unique visual experience from start to end.

Even from the very first moment of the script we believe that The Star Making Machine will be a successful film not only in Argentina but for foreign audiences as well, that is why the film is not intended to appeal to real localisms. That is, all the story and its characters are meant to be universal. The bondings Pilo stablishes with his mother, grandpa, his friend and father are far beyond cultural diversity.

The universe in which this adventure develops itself is a non-temporal place, as a result of the fusion between sciene fictional elements and antique technologies of Humanity: vapour spaceships, machines with large gears, clockwork robots, also holograms, living asteroids and others.
